Koppenberg and new car.

So I guess I ended up 18th yesterday at the Koppenberg Circuit Race. The race went alright for me, and I stayed with the front group until the 5th time up the Koppenberg climb. The chase group never really meshed well, but we kept the gap pretty close the whole time, finishing a minute seven seconds back.

I also got a new car a couple weeks ago. Many of you already know this, but I couldn't post it on here as it was part of my mom's surprise birthday present. She got a new car yesterday, it was waiting in the garage for her when they got back from Maui, but in the process, I traded my Subaru for my dad's old (2005) Passat TDI. I'm loving the new ride, but I must say, it was hard to say goodbye to the Subaru after 5 long years behind it's wheel.

That's all for now, I was on call at the Rio this morning and didn't have to work, so I managed to get a bunch of cleaning and some laundry done. My legs are still waxed, so a little break feels nice. Hopefully there will be some Koppenberg pictures up soon. Thanks for checking in.

Embarrassing: "Koppenberg"

I should know; I misspelled it on my entry fee check, to the smirking mirth of the promoter lady.

Not sure what you're talking about, I don't make errors.

When you're not busy not making mistakes, you may want to reread this sentence:

"I'm loving the new ride, but I must say, it was hard to say goodbye to the Subaru after 5 long years behind it's wheel."
