Here are some pictures from the past few weeks. First off we have me with Allez (Koch's dog note my beard), next is a black and white photo from the Boulder CX race at Interlocken Park, and last are a couple shots from the Reservoir last Sunday afternoon. The race last weekend started off alright, and then kind've faded. Hopefully this weekend I won't ride so stupid in the latter half of the race. USGP Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm in Longmont and Boulder respectively. Hope to see you there. Thanks for checking in.

EKG: electrocardiogram. For whatever reason, we seem to be more familiar with the abbreviation EKG, from the German term elektrokardiogramm, than the English version ECG. This is likely due to our liberal arts education, as it seems doctors and those in the appropriate field use the proper ECG abbreviation.

An ECG graphic records the electric voltage in the heart. When one watches ER, Gray's Anatomy, or any other decadent medical sitcom, the screen that displays a 'flatline' with corresponding beeps, buzzers, and confetti, prompting a rush of nurses and such, is ECG measuring and readout equipment.

We could have asked Dana, I bet, but he's out and about having a gute Zeit.
